Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns
Assess substance use history, withdrawal symptoms, psychiatric symptoms, and relevant clinical information to establish appropriate diagnoses
Develop personalized de-addiction and psychiatric treatment plans based on individual patient needs
Provide appropriate medication management and monitor patients throughout the treatment and rehabilitation process
Provide counselling, psychoeducation, follow-up consultations, and relapse-prevention guidance to patients and their families
Monitor clinical progress and make appropriate adjustments during treatment and scheduled follow-up consultations
Coordinate with counsellors, psychologists, nursing staff, and other centre professionals for integrated patient care
