Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns
• Review substance use history, withdrawal symptoms, psychiatric symptoms, and relevant clinical findings to establish appropriate diagnoses
• Develop individualized psychiatric and de-addiction treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs
• Monitor patients during the treatment and rehabilitation process and make appropriate adjustments to their management plans
• Provide counselling, psychoeducation, follow-up consultations, and relapse-prevention guidance to patients and their families
• Coordinate with counsellors, psychologists, nursing staff, and other centre professionals to support integrated patient care
